Another World Update for 9/30/93

The farm- John, Kelsey, Frankie and Brett are there.  Kelsey and John tell them
  they're hitched.  Frankie and Brett are shocked that they got married.  They
  reluctantly congratulate them (after prompting).  Frankie and John go to get
  stuff from the car.  Brett tells Kelsey she can't believe that she and John
  went from not speaking to each other to getting married in 2 days.
Cory's- Maggie pulls out a sexy nightie and admires it.  She is interrupted by 
  the doorbell.  It's Jenna, who came to see her.  Jenna tells her she's going
  to NY w/ Dean.
Tops- Lorna tells Dean to behave himself in NY.  Jake shows up as Dean leaves. 
  He talks to Lorna but then her cellular phone rings.  He informs her that her
  dress is ringing (I loved that line!) and then goes to sit down with Spencer.
  Spencer asks if Jake will try to help Kevin because he's his brother, but
  Jake says Kevin got what he deserved.  Spencer says Jake is pissed because 
  Paulina's in town.
Hotel- Ian tells Paulina not to stop him from leaving.  He wants to see if Jake
  has proof that Mac cheated his father.  Paulina tells him not to go because
  he'll get caught & sent to jail.
Hotel- Paulina says the whole town is looking for Ian, so he'd better stay in
  the room.  He says the room feels like a jail.  She says she'll get him a 
  lawyer, but Ian says he doesn't trust anyone.  Paulina calls Cass.  He says
  he wan't to know what's going on.  She says she'll tell him later, that right
  now she needs his help.
Tops- Spencer says Jake still wants Paulina.  Jake says he just went to San
  Cristobal to protect her from Ian, and that her leaving him in jail killed
  his feelings for her.  Victor shows up and walks over to Lorna.  They talk- 
  he says he wants to go on "their date" tonight.  She says NO!  He says he
  feels just as betrayed by Kevin as she does.  Grant calls & Lorna tells him
  she's on her way.  As she's leaving, Vic tells her to come back when she's 
  ready to stop playing games.
Cory's- Maggie asks why Jenna is going to NY since she has so much other stuff
  she has to do.  Jenna tells Maggie that Dean's more important to her.  She
  tells Maggie that NYC is where she and Dean realized they were in love.  
  Maggie tells her it sounds romantic.  Jenna sees the nightie, and is shocked.
  She asks Maggie if anyone has talked to her about safe sex.  Maggie says it's
  not hers.  She claims she bought it as a joke to send to her friend Celeste.
  (does anyone know who Celeste is yet?)  Jenna wants Maggie to go out with
  her friend that night but Maggie says she's too busy.  Jenna suggests she
  call him anyway, so they can be friends.  Then she says she has to leave so
  she can pack.  She says she understands that Maggie will miss Dean.  As she's
  leaving, Matt calls and tells Jenna to get to KBAY pronto, even though she 
  needs to go to NY.  She decides to go on a later flight.  After Jenna leaves,
  Maggie pulls out the nightie and holds it to her.
The farm- Kelsey tells Brett that overanalyzing kills relationships and that
  John and she were disfunctional at dating.  She says when they finally talked
  everything over, they decided to get married.
The farm (porch)- John tells Frankie they were overanalying their relationship.
The farm- Kelsey says they sat down and asked themselves if they were in love 
  and the answer was yes.
The farm (porch)- John says he asked himself if what they have was strong
  enough.  Frankie says she's surprised her "sane" friend went out and eloped
  like that.  John says he was just following her advice to get over Sharlene
  and on with his life.
KBAY- Jenna tells Dean she'll meet him as soon as she can.  She tells Dean 
  Maggie's depressed he's leaving and that she has a crush on him.  Dean says
  he doesn't think so.  Jenna says she feels sorry for Maggie because Dean is
  all hers.
Cory's- Maggie calls to confirm her NY flight, and checks and finds out that 
  the next flight isn't till tomorrow.  She fantacizes:
  Maggie's fantasy- She slides into bed next to Dean (in the nightie) and tells
	him that Jenna couldn't come because she had better things to do, but
	that Dean is #1 on her priority list.  She tells him she understands 
 	him, and that she wants to make love with him.  He guesses that it's
	her first time, and she tells him she was waiting for someone special, 
	and that he's the one.
KBAY- Jenna tells Matt that she doesn't like his attitude.  He says that she 
  doesn't know him as well as she thought.  Victor shows up as Matt leaves.
  Jenna says she wants to thank him for saving Lorna and helping her and 
  Felicia.  Victor asks where Lorna is.  Jenna and he agree that Lorna has shut
  down, that she can't deal with Kevin's shennanigans.  Jenna asks Victor
  who he talks to now that Kevin's gone.  Vic says he doesn't have many friends
  left.  Lorna shows up and asks if she's one of the friends he's referring to.
The farm- John and Kelsey say goodbye to Frankie and Brett.  They talk about 
  their elopement, saying they think a lot of people will be surprised, and
  that they can't wait to tell everyone (semi-sarcastically).  He asks if the
  elopement bothers her.  She says it doesn't.  John makes Kelsey get up so he
  can carry her over the threshold.
Tops- Spencer gives Jake a check and says that Kevin needs a good attorney.  
  Jake says he doesn't want to help Kevin, that he wants to wash his hands of
  Kevin and Paulina.  Spencer says Jake should help his family, and Jake gets 
  up and leaves, saying he doesn't have the patience.  He runs into Paulina
  on the way out.
Tops- Paulina and Jake greet each other semi-civilly.  They argue.  She accuses
  him of stealing Ian's dad's notes and says she wants them back.  She says
  Ian is still in the jungle looking for stuff about his dad, but Jake doesn't
  believe it.  Cass shows up.  Jake goes back to Spencer's table to watch them
  talk.  Paulina wants Cass to tell her Ian's rights so she can talk him into 
  coming home.  He says he can't represent Ian.
KBAY- Lorna wants to know why Vic keeps coming back to her for more abuse.  He
  gets mad and leaves.  Lorna says he really ticks her off.  Jenna tells her
  to call her if she needs her.  Lorna talks to Matt and trys to convince him
  to put Grant's family bill on the air.  He refuses.  Maggie asks Jenna for
  Dean's address so she can send him flowers (yeah, right!).  Jenna says ok and
  looks for it.
Tops- Cass wants to know why Paulina wants to help Ian.  She says he needs a
  chance.  Paulina tells him she just wants some advice on Ian's rights and
  a recommendation of a good attorney.  She says Ian wants to turn himself in.
  Paulina leaves and Frankie and Brett show up.  Frankie tells Cass that they
  found Kelsey and John and that they eloped.  He says he's happy about it, but
  Frankie's is worried about what'll happen when they realize they don't know
  each other that well.  They start to make love.
KBAY- Jenna gives Maggie the address and Maggie leaves, but she listens into
  Jenna and Lorna's conversation.  Jenna tells Lorna she hopes to get to NY
  by tomorrow but she's worried about their mom.  Lorna tells Jenna to go,
  that she'll take care of their mother.  Matt tells Jenna to come into their
  meeting.  Maggie calls to make up a story about Felicia to keep Jenna from
  coming to NY.
KBAY- Jenna tells Matt she thinks she can make the next flight to NY.  She
  tells Matt that his ideas for Jam Session are good.  Matt leaves.  Jenna
  calls Dean to say hi and says she'll be up in NY that day.  As she's leaving
  the phone rings with a message about her mom.
Lorna's- Lorna comes home with her mail.  There's a knock on the door.  It's 
  Vic.  She tells him she's fine and doesn't want to be hassled.  He says he
  wants to talk about "us" but then she sees a letter that worries her.
Hotel:  Paulina says she has to call to see about getting Ian's papers back.
  Ian doesn't want to wait at the hotel, he wants to go get them.  She says
  he's blaming her for all the problems with the papers.  He says that's not
  true.  He says he wants to be with her, that she gave him a reason to go 
  on.  He says coming to Bay City wasn't a mistake.  They start to make love.
  Jake arrives outside their door. (freeze frame)
