Slightly irritated Blake goes to the door, >Hastily opens the door while zipping her dress. > >Blake:(smiles as she looks up) Hon is....(frown, questioningly)..Dad? > >Roger: Chrissy... > >Blake :(sarcastically) To what do I owe this pleasure? > > >Roger: (feigns a hurt look) Chrissy...I'm crushed (smirks) > >Blake: (sighs) Shouldn't you be home baby-sitting your bride..(rolls her eyes)...or at least out buying her something shiny? > >Roger: Chrissy I didn't stop buy to trade petty insults > >Blake raises her eyebrow > >Blake: Great because I'm in a hurry, no time for idle chitchat(finishes zippering her dress, tugs on the hem) > >Roger gives her a look of approval > >Roger: You look great ... actually the reason I dropped by was to invite you and yours to dinner. > >Blake gives Roger the once over, wondering if she heard him correctly > >Blake;(flip) Oh we would love too, but Ross isn't here...(stops mid-sentence as she checks for earrings) > >Roger:(interested) Oh and where is your ever-loving husband > >Blake who is humming to herself chooses to ignore his rather uppity tone. > >Blake: He is meeting with a client at the Towers, so I am headed over there as we speak, to surprise him for a late dinner. > >Roger:(congenial) Really , well we are having dinner at the Towers why don't you join us > >Blake:(eyes twinkling defiantly) An evening with you and your beloved is not what I had in mind, I really would like to be alone with Ross tonight, so if you will excuse me...I really need to be on my way >(searches for her purse, takes a quick look in the mirror) > >Roger: What no time for your dear old Dad > >Blake:(looks at him as though he has just said something wildly amusing) >Oh I have the time, just not the inclination. > >Roger: Well at least let me drive you over, I am headed there anyway > >Blake:(shortly) Fine lets go! > >Roger: Don't forget your coat it's pouring out.. >(holds the door open for her as she rushes off in search of her coat) > >Cut to: The Towers where Ross & Amanda are seated at a table engaged in conversation. >The conversation is interrupted by a phone ringing. >Amanda reaches into her purse and flips open her cell phone >Ross who is totally disinterested twirls the straw in his drink around while she takes the call >hoping this strategy session will soon wind down so he can go home to Blake who has been rather >despondent these days over not being pregnant, hopefully something a little quality time would take her mind off it or at least give her an opportunity to get pregnant(smiles at that thought). > >Amanda: Ross.... > >The sound of her voice jars him from his thoughts he looks at her > >Amanda: Where were you > >Ross: ( Ignores her question) ... finished with your call? Nothing important I hope? > >Amanda:(smiles) No not terribly, it seems everything is falling into place. > >Ross wonders what she means, but his thoughts drift back to Blake > >Amanda:(annoyed) Ross.. > >Ross: What did I miss something(confused) > >Amanda: I asked you if you wanted to dance, we have been discussing pour strategy too long, lets take a breather. > >Ross looks at her intently, wondering how much she has had to drink, he counts four empty glasses, and is certain he caught a slight slur in her voice & she certainly looks flushed. > >Amanda steps sway from the table, reaching her hand out for Ross to take, he remains seated, impassive. > >Amanda: (teasing) Come on counselor....what *are* you afraid of? > >Ross removes his glasses > >Ross:(smiles smugly): Afraid that you've had too much to drink....(sternly) just sit down! > >Amanda: Ha! Same old Ross...uptight & stodgy > >Ross:(a little put off by her insult)...stodgy???? > >Amanda:(leans towards him...taunting...flashing the ever present cleavage) >Well you are certainly no fun... > >Ross: You don't pay me to be fun ... you pay me to be good (notices how that sounded) > >Amanda: And that you are....(wondering just how good) >Oh come on, what is one dance between old friends (turns away) > >Ross: Where are you going? > >Amanda: Well... I feel like dancing...with or without you. > >Ross grudgingly gives in, telling himself its to keep her from embarrassing herself. > >Cut to: Roger & Blake in the car on their way to the Towers. > >Roger: Sorry for the phone call, just wanted to let my darling wife know I was on the way. > >Blake stares out the window lost in her own thoughts. > >Roger: Chrissy, I was rather surprised when Leo mentioned that Ross has re-entered the Spaulding ring, as Amanda's champion.... > >Blake hears Roger but refuses to allow him to get to her. > >Roger: Well is it true? Has he become her great defender, Ross always was a sucker for a lost cause...sorry Hon...present company excluded..of course. > >Blake: Don't bother going there...(sharply) Dad. Speaking of Ross how is my wicked step-mother coping with domesticity these days? (gives Roger a very knowing look) ...has she redecorated yet...so tell me what is it like living in Barbie's dream house? > >Roger: Dinah is beautiful & charming and more vivacious then ever...I'll tell her you asked. I'm sure she'll be touched... > >Blake cuts him off...muttering under her breath > >Blake: She's touched all right. > >Roger :Did I note a little sore spot at the mention of Ross' newest client? Were they not involved a few years back.(pause) Don't tell me you are jealous? > >Blake: ( feels her happy mellow mood slipping away quickly retorts) >: Yes, they were business partners, but you know all this, if you are looking for me to go into a jealous tizzy, well your looking in the wrong place >(Blake who doesn't want to admit how much this conversation is getting to her decides to end it abruptly) >By the way, since you are a bundle of love & concern, just thought you would want to know, Mom & the baby are doing splendidly! She is glowing...impending motherhood seems to suit her (gushing) and Fletch...well he is just so sweet and attentive...catering to her every whim! > >Roger clams up, glaring at Blake, who glares back before turning towards the window. >His thoughts go to Holly and the baby that should have been his. > >Cut to: Blake & Roger are leaving the car, heading for the elevator. > >Roger: You are sure you won't join us for dinner? > >Blake: (sighs.. insincerely) I really hate to pass up such fascinating company, but I have other ideas about how I want to spend my evening, something *pleasant* would be nice.(starts towards the restaurant) > >Roger:(gently catches her arm, she gives him a look of annoyance) Honey, before you meet ...Ross or anyone for that matter(grins) you should stop by the ladies room, the rain wrecked havoc on your makeup. and I know you want to look your best for him...though it still escapes me why? > >Blake absently brushes her finger tips across her face, wishing she had gone with waterproof. > >Blake:(grudgingly) Thanks (heads off for the ladies room) > >Cut to: Ross & Amanda on the dance floor, the tempo has slowed & Amanda pulls a rather stiff Ross a little closer. > >Amanda:(smiles wickedly) Are you always this rigid ...or is it just me? > >Ross(starting to feel a little uncomfortable with the situation, looks at her closely, trying to she if the double meaning were intentional) I'm just tired, I have a lot on my mind > (mainly a wife who has been a little fertility crazy of late) > >Amanda:(pouts) Well if you'd loosen up a little, I'm sure you'd feel better. > >As the music slows, slows slides her arms up and clasp them loosely around his neck > >Amanda: Ross...really you are too tense...I'm not going to bite you (playfully grinning) > >Ross:(grins uncomfortably) Glad to hear it, makes me feel so much better. > >Amanda pulls him a little closer, thinking how fun that would be. > >Cut to: Blake walking into the club heads straight to the bar, where Hamp is busy serving guests. > >Blake: Hamp Hi (smiles) Could I please have a bottle of your best champagne? > >Hamp: Sure, be right with.. > >As Hamp turns away to find a the champagne, Blake turns to scan the tables for Ross & his client. Not noticing Ross immediately she notices Roger sitting alone ..looking rather intensely in her direction & then to the dance floor, she follows his gaze & suddenly becomes very still, eyebrows go up, and curiosity takes over as she watches, > >Hamp: Here you go pretty lady...so what is the occasion.? > >Blake:(who is preoccupied with the dancing duo retorts) Well now... that remains to be seen. > >Blake takes the bottle, and moves in for a better view, preferring to remain unobserved for the moment.. > >Scene shifts to Amanda & Ross > >Amanda: Ross...don't you ever miss the good old days? > >Ross: Well Amanda we weren't that old... and as I remember it they were not that good! >(starting to feel slightly agitated) > >Amanda:(pouts) You sound so bitter. > >Ross: No at all, I just prefer to live in the present > >Amanda: You know, I have always regretted that things never went further between us. > >Ross not wanting to encourage the conversation, tries to appear disinterested > >Ross: ummm > >Amanda: Oh Ross, just admit it you were crazy about me. > >Ross: Probably just plain crazy...(stares at her intently) this conversation is getting us nowhere...(he drops his hands from her) > >Amanda swiftly clasps her hands behind his neck and pulls him towards her, as she moves in and kisses him intensely, Ross who is caught completely off guard takes a couple of seconds to react...and brusquely pushes her away. > >Ross:(angrily) What the hell do you think you were doing.. this is a very public place...are you crazy? >(as he grabs a handkerchief and vigorously rubs his lips to remove any trace of her lipstick, he notices hers is badly smeared) > >Amanda(purring) Oh if you would like something a little more private...it can be arranged. > >Ross:(annoyed) That is not what I meant, its just that people will talk (thinking this was the last thing Blake needed to hear) > >Amanda: Well then lets give them something to keep those tongues wagging up a storm. > >Ross: You *are* deliberately misunderstanding me > >Amanda: Poor Ross so misunderstood (grabs his tie and pulls him closer, he pulls his tie back and steps away from her) > >Amanda: (knowing grin) You just proved too irresistible...I've been wanting to do that for a very long time. > >Ross:(flustered) In case I have not made myself clear I am a happily buried...uuhmm married man. > >Amanda:(voice raised, eyes snapping) So you keep saying....who are you trying to convince counselor.. yourself?? You know I am curious about that...what is deal with you and Fl...Blake > >Ross is now looking as confused as he feels. Looks to her for an explanation > >Amanda:(total exasperation, her voice steadily getting louder) >Ross...for crying out loud, she is half your age, she has slept with *all* the Spaulding men...well with the exception of Brandon...(wonders) and I'm quite sure she did not stop there....from what I hear if mattress tag were an Olympic sport she would be a gold medalist... (condescending) really you *used* to have such standards.(by this time Amanda's voice is so loud everyone in the room is pretending not to stare) >I just don't understand...how someone as upstanding as yourself ends up with...well...Ross what is she holding over you, I know she faked a pregnancy to hold on to my brother, what do you have some unusual sexual fetish that she caters to? (winks) > >Ross grabs her arm, but she doesn't budge > >Ross:(who is horrified and stunned) Amanda you are drunk, lets sit down NOW! > >Amanda:(taunting him pulls away) That must have been one hell of a mid-life crisis's you were suffering through...were you so desperate to regain your lost youth.. Ross ..she is *so* beneath you...well I guess that is how she got you in the first place. > >Ross cuts her off midstream > >Ross: Amanda that's enough(forcefully) You are making a scene.. now lets go to our table! > >Amanda: (laughs at him) You know it is true, she slept with *all* the men in my family to get their money.. any way you look at it Ross... you married a cheap whore... but at least she is young. > >At this precise moment...a bottle of champagne smashed into a million pieces upon hitting the wall, >and Blake is standing empty handed, Amanda faces her and glares at her as their eyes lock, but her look is one of glee as she sees the rage in Blake's eyes. > >Blake slowly moves across the floor and Ross has a very bad feeling as he turns to see what cause the crash. > >Ross:(astonished, but not really surprised) Blake > >Their eyes lock. > >Amanda: Well speak of the devil...I'm sorry Blake, I did not notice you standing there(smiles innocently) > >Blake:(eyes widen) The hell you didn't (raging inside) > >Amanda: I see as usual you have managed to get everyone's attention, but at least you had the good sense not to wear those awful feathers. > >Eyes still locked on Ross, he is becoming unbearably anxious under her intense gaze, he cannot tell what she is thinking, but knows it is not good. > >Blake(turns her eyes to Amanda, eyes narrowing) What do you do for an encore Amanda...never mind I don't want to know. You want him so badly ...well congratulations honey ...he's yours! > >Roger who is enjoying this scene tremendously moves in behind Blake. >Ross finally getting his bearings starts to move towards his wife. > >Ross: Honey...you seem a little...upset. Would you like to leave? > >Blake: Upset (incredulously)...what possible reason could I have to be upset ? >That over-sexed, frizz headed, barracuda tried to 'take' you on the dance floor in front of half the town... oh no I'm not upset...(starts to tremble) > >Ross winces at her biting sarcasm & hostility > >Ross:(hoping to salvage the situation) I really think we should just go home > >Blake:(starts to come unglued...ranting) Go Home! I am not going home with you... tonight... or any other night...(eyes blazing as tears of anger start to fall down her cheeks) >You Ross Marler can go straight to hell (she spins around on her way out) >and on your way...take that BITCH with you. > >Ross is blown away by her statement, and is momentarily speechless, this evening was not at all what he had planned. > >Roger catches Blake by the shoulders and stops her from leaving > >Roger: Chrissy...honey (full of sincerity) are you all right...let me take you home. (glares at Ross) >I am telling you have done the right thing, he is not worthy of you, he never was, do you see now why I always wanted better for you? > >Blake lip starts to bleed where she is biting it so hard to keep from trembling uncontrollably, barley holding her composure > >Blake:(snarls) Take your false sympathies and your phony concern ...DAD... and choke on them.. > >Loses what little composure she had left and flees from the room. > >Ross:(yells) Blake..(starts after her) >Roger steps in his path > >Roger:(sneering) Leave her alone Marler(clenching teeth) You have done quite enough damage. I am just glad that she has finally seen you for the sleaze you are. You are nothing more than a two timing roach, Chrissy will be much better off without you. > >Ross: Roger Shut Up! >(looks incredulous... decides Roger really does have it coming and is about to land the first punch when Amanda grabs his arm) > >Amanda:(pleading) Don't he isn't worth it... > >Ross pulls away from Amanda's touch like it is fire , and something Blake said occurs to him, he turns around to face Amanda) > >Ross:(sternly with eyes narrowed watching Amanda intently) Did you know Blake was here?... Did you see her standing there? > >Amanda:(looks demurely tilts her head as she studies his face) > >Ross:(angrily) I want an answer...Amanda > >Amanda:(shortly, eyes darting) Of..course..not > >Ross:(snidely) I don't believe you! > >Amanda:(clearly agitated) Based on what... the raving of your insanely jealous out of control wife?? > >Ross:(quietly) How could you intentionally hurt her that way... > >Amanda: I called it as I saw it, can I help it if that silly child is super sensitive...besides I only told the truth about her > >Ross: You really do not have a clue about her! > >Amanda: Oh don't I ? > >Ross: No..(with emotion) she is the kindest, ,most loving and giving person I have ever had the opportunity to know. > >Amanda looks at him doubtfully not buying a word, knowing in her heart it is not possible that he truly loves that woman. > >Ross: I love Blake... more than anything, I cannot believe how truly cruel and hurtful you were...what has she ever done to you?? You have become a very bitter and malicious self-centered woman. And it is not a pretty sight,(shakes his head in disgust) > >Ross hastily grabs a napkin off the table, quickly scribbles something and hands it to Amanda > >Amanda: (puzzled) What is this ( she looks down at it, but looks back to him fro an explanation) > >Ross: My letter of resignation...you know Blake was so right...she warned me it would be trouble to get involved with the Spaulding's again. She knew exactly what you were up to, I just choose to ignore her warning out of deference to a long past friendship > >Amanda:(smiles coyly) She is just jealous because she knows the powerful history we have shared and that no matter how much you deny it you still have feeling for me. > >It is beginning to dawn on Ross that Amanda may not have fully recovered from her psychosis. > >Ross: The only feelings I have for you are contempt and pity...you are obviously a very pathetic and miserable woman > >Ross turns around and heads for the door. > >Amanda:(pleading) Ross...you heard her, she doesn't want you let alone deserve you. She just walked away like you meant nothing! She probably has a lover waiting in the wings, she just needed an excuse. > >Ross: She was very angry and hurt , I am going to find her to explain what happened here tonight, I will find a way to change her mind, I have to (earnestly) because my life is nothing without her! > >Ross exits, Roger steps up behind Amanda > >Roger: (smiling slyly) Well Mandy, quite the performance, but he doesn't seem to be taking *you* home > >Amanda turns to face Roger. > >Amanda: Give him time (looks smug, thinks...he wants me badly) > >Roger: Well I must congratulate you, I have never seen Chrissy look so infuriated. > >Amanda: (smiles broadly, pleased with herself) Yes that was quite the performance > >Roger: (grabs her wrist & pulls her towards himself, teeth clenched) I don't care how you get Marler out of her life...seduce him in Times Square if you must...just do it. But never(sneer) call my daughter a whore or anything else in public again ...or I will bury you...understood? > >Amanda: (cringes slightly and forcefully pulls away) So I got a bit carried away, it had the desired effect, now if you will excuse me I have to be going. > >Roger: Heading out so soon? > >Amanda: Poor poor Ross is going to need someone to console him, when Blake cuts him down to size, if he ever actually finds her...I really think I should be there > >As Amanda exists we fade to black > >Cut in: Blake is running absently down the street, long ago soaked by the downpour. She stumbles and stops abruptly. She reaches down to examine her shoe, the heel completely broken off. > >Blake: Damn..as if this night weren't bad enough (she picks up the shoes and hurls them furiously across the street, where they land in a puddle., she discovers a park bench and sits down to catch her breathe, she hugs her knees to her chest and the very fragile emotional thread that was holding snapped, leaving her shaking, sobbing and feeling very empty and alone, the only warmth being the hot tears streaming down her face? > >Blake: Why, why did I ever think that I deserved to be happy(head in hands, lips quivering uncontrollably) My life has been one colossal screw-up after another... why did I delude myself into thinking that this time would be different? >I am such an idiot... how could I have ever thought that a relationship I started out of revenge against my own mother would turn into happily ever after... >This evening which should have been so wonderful... turned into a complete nightmare... >What could I have been thinking...I should have just knocked Miss Fifi on her butt and dragged him out of there(this image brings a sad smile to her face) > >It was ironic, how only hours earlier she felt sure that her life with Ross couldn't possible get better, now she was sure it couldn't possible get worse. >As the feeling of complete isolation & emptiness engulfed her, an involuntary shiver seized her, reality came crashing back and she realized that she couldn't spend the night here! > >Cut to Ross: Who is frantically scanning the streets for Blake, glad the downpour had slowed to a drizzle starting to feel that the search is useless he turns down 5th street, on his way home, maybe she had calmed down, somehow he could not bring himself to believe that, with her final look of rage and hurt still clearly etched in his mind, suddenly his headlight pick up a figure in the distance. His heart starts to pound in anticipation, he pulls the car to the curb and quickly gets out heading towards the bedraggle figure . His thoughts of what he is going to say distract him, so he fails to notice the car that is slowly approaching > >Cut to: Amanda, who is slowing her car down, parking behind a short distance behind Ross's car > >Amanda(to herself) Damn Ross, you certainly are bullish ...we could be having so much more fun...if you would forget the floozy and let me warm you up (smiles delightfully at this thought, she grabs her umbrella and quietly follows Ross) > >Cut to Blake who is having a conversation with the little voice in her head > >Voice: Why did you allow yourself to think that *any* man could really truly love you?... >Your own father doesn't even love you... he has only used you as a pawn all these years... something he could use to get to Holly... and you were always there to help dear old dad do his dirty work ... every step of the way. >And your mother...the only person in the world that loves you...well for now any way ... lets think about the horrible way you've treated her. (pause) Always running to Roger's defense at her expense... sleeping with a man you knew she cared about... being jealous instead of supportive when she got pregnant...You have all but thrown her love back in her face... sooner or later even she is going to realize once again...that you my dear are not worth the effort...you truly are your father's daughter... you are cruel and self-absorbed and all you care about is Blake!... Well just like Dad you are going to end up hated.. bitter and alone. > >Blake:(shakes her head, defiantly) NO! that is not true, she does love me and come hell or high water I will be there for her! (thinking about Holly, brings about another pressing thought...where am I going to go, its not like I can move in with Mom Fetch Ben & baby) > >The sound of footsteps alert her, > >Blake(to self) Oh wonderful, I look like a drowned rat, without shoes, I really do not want to explain this. > >Blake gets up from the bench and heads towards the nearest phone booth. > >Quickly heads towards the phone booth >Ross trying to catch his breathe yells > >Ross:(desperately) Blake... > >Blake: (hears but continues towards the phone) > >Ross: (who saw her slight hesitation knows she heard him) >Blake Marler, stop this instant! > >Blake throws her shoulders back, stiffens her posture and keeps going > >Ross:(smiles in spite of himself at his wife's obstinance) >That's my girl! >Runs and catches up to her, walking beside her > >Ross: Sweetheart...would you please stop. > >Blake glares at him, and he notices that her eyes are all red & puffy and the hurt look cuts him deeply > >Ross: We need to talk > >Blake:(yells without looking at him) I have nothing to say to you...now or ever.. > >Ross:(exasperated) So what are you going to do, run around in the rain all night! Be reasonable >(thinking if the situation wasn't so grave, he would find her behavior amusing) > >Blake: Reasonable...(pitch getting more shrill) REASONABLE!!! I don't have to be reasonable... > >Ross realizing that this approach is getting him nowhere, quickly grabs her and pulls her into the phone booth, slamming the door behind them. > >Ross: Blake...listen to me, I do not know what you thought you saw back there, but I can explain > >Blake:(enraged) What I *thought* I saw...how about what I heard! She called me a cheap whore in front of half of the town and did you defend me.. No...you were to worried about whether AmadDUH was embarrassing herself. > >Ross: Honey! It wasn't like that at all, she was drunk, she didn't know what she was saying. (not very convincingly, because he no longer felt it was true) > >Blake: Drunk, Oh No, she had complete control of her faculties...such as they are ... she knew exactly was she was saying...but it makes it so much better that knowing that you didn't want a scene...meanwhile you allowed that that frizz headed barracuda to drag my name through the mud (pushes by Ross tugs on the door, door does not move, slams her fist into the door) Damn, nothing ever works right.. > >Ross: Honey...that is just not true...we work right! > >Blake:( Talks into the door) Would you just leave...(as her resolve is starts to slip away) > >Ross: Easier said than done Hon (as he gives the door a slight tug, it holds firm) >Sweetheart listen to me, if you had not left Towers like a bat out of hell, you would have heard me tell everyone who was listening, that without *you* my life is meaningless and empty, because your are the most loving, caring and giving person, and you continually bring joy and some pretty remarkable surprises into my life (smiles tenderly) > >Blake:(sorry she missed the declaration) Really? (turns to face him, eyebrows raised, hoping beyond hope that maybe...just maybe..) > >Ross:(looks deeply into her eyes and clasps her neck in his hands..) Blake...that does not begin to describe how completely I love you..(pulls her into a hug...which lasts several seconds before she pulls away, needing to get things settled) > >Blake: And what about Miss Fifi? > >Ross looks very puzzled, wondering what his pumpkin is talking about, they don't have a dog, and he has never cared for poodles ..too yappy > >Ross: Fifi? > >Blake: Oh did I actually say that...its one of my kinder, gentler names...for Amanda! > >Ross:(makes the connection & smiles) Amanda has changed drastically since the time when I might have felt something for her, if your asking if I am carrying around some hidden torch for her *no*... she is a very bitter, lonely & manipulative cold person not unlike her father (bites lip...bad association, thankfully Blake doesn't seem to notice, she just continues to stare at him intently, waiting for him to finish) >It is unfortunate really... you were right...she did hope to re-kindle something she thought we had, but I assure you she is no threat, she disgusts me and only deserves our pity > >(relief engulfs Blake as she allows her to hope that things will be OK) > >Blake:(softly) What are you staring at.... > >Ross: You.. > >Blake: I guessed that... what did I sprout wings? > >Ross: No your just looking very >(she cuts him off) > >Blake: What...dewy..(in a slightly disgusted tone) > >Ross: No...I don't recall seeing you look more sexy or vulnerable that you do right now(pulls her towards him and kisses her tenderly yet passionately) >Lips part, still holding her close > >Ross:(softly) You are the most important person in the world to me and I do not ever want you doubting that... I will always treasure you! (pauses) And just so you know, I handed Amanda my resignation rather unceremoniously earlier...I quit! > >Blake:(tilts her head towards him, eyes widen, her heart takes a little leap of joy) >Tonight really hurt ...maybe because what she was saying was true...I'm not good enough for you and I certainly don't deserve you, it was a real reality check having my past brought up like that! > >Ross:(eyes twinkling, realizing how truly fragile and vulnerable she really was beneath the strong facade) >Sorry, you are not getting rid of me that easily... I love you past and all...besides no one is perfect.. (pulls her into another passionate kiss) > >We cut to: Outside still standing in the rain Amanda remaining un-noticed moves closer to the booth . > >Amanda: What is going on in there, how long can it take him to dump that little tramp! > >We cut to: Inside the booth things are fogging up >(as they break off the kiss, Ross moans softly, and gently traces her lips with his finger) > >Ross: You are just so beguiling my dear. > >Blake: Ummm the drowned rat look, seems to suit me(rolls her eyes, thinking it is starting to become her personal MO) > >As Ross gently pushes the wet curls off her forehead, he kisses the tip of her nose...and thinks how seductive she looks without even trying, the wet dress seeming to cling in all the right places > >Ross;(suggestive grin) I noticed...you know I really think you should get out of those wet clothes... > >Blake:(eyebrow raised, slight smile, feigns shock) Are you suggesting.....Ross we are in a phone booth! > All I need is to get arrested for indecent exposure! > >Ross:(chuckles)Oh my dear it is *very* decent exposure... besides if you do get arrested you are in good hands (his hands move to the zipper on her dress) I can get you out of anything...including this dress (dress slips to the floor, gives her a quizzical look, but gazes approvingly at her naked body) > >Ross: Ummm honey...you seem to be missing a couple of rather important articles of clothing. > >Blake:(grins) Well earlier this evening...I was feeling a little naughty. > >Ross:(stares at her) Naughty is good..actually it is downright enticing. > >He wraps his arms tightly around her, and feels her start to relax, as her body molds to his the feeling is quickly replaced by a desperate passion, as she kisses him fully and ardently) > >Blake(murmurs into his ear) But a phone booth... > >Ross: Just call me Superman > >Blake:(laughs) I already do! > >They cling desperately to each other, being completely consumed by the moment, eager to completely obliterate the evening events. As their tongues play very familiar games, her hands quickly unbutton his shirt, desperate to feel the heat of his skin against her own, her hands then slide to his waist where she hastily unbuckles and unbuttons... as their kiss breaks off they briefly stare into each others eyes with a look of both, great love and unbridled lust... Ross runs his tongue tauntingly down her neck, stopping briefly to nibble on her shoulder, causing her to shiver in delight....and then continues downward... as his teeth graze gently on her breast, she pulls away and turn her back towards him. > >Ross: Honey? > >Blake:(huskily) Yes... > >His hands rest lightly on her hips, as he kisses the nape of her neck. > >Ross: Is something wrong? > >Blake:(reaches behind and grabs his neck as she arches against him) I was wondering something? > >Ross:(enjoying her neck..whispers) What were you wondering? > > >Blake:(turns around, smiles very seductively) When you think about me...do you still think illicit sex? > >Ross:(gently bites her neck) The most illicit my darling > >Blake: (smiles) Good... > >All conversation stops as they share a very long sensual kiss, as their desire heightens... he lifts her up... she tightly wraps her legs around his waist... feeling the familiar heat invade her body as his caresses become more urgent, they both give themselves completely to the moment! > >Cut to: Amanda who is still out in the rain, and cannot believe her eyes, yet is unable to look away! >Could she have been wrong, Ross certainly didn't seem to be held prisoner by his inhibitions. >But a Phone booth.. had they no shame! > >Cut to: Back in the booth, Ross & Blake have collapsed to the floor, where a half dressed Ross holds his naked wife protectively in his lap, gently caressing her neck. Thinking how incredibly beautiful she looks as the neon lights casts a glow on her skin. > >Ross:(breathless) Your glowing > >Blake:(giggle) I know... > >Ross:(nuzzles her neck) Just when I thought it couldn't get any better... > >Blake: Oh but it does (pauses) > >Ross: If it gets any better I am not sure I will survive. > >Blake: Oh baby...you always seem to rise to the occasion. > >Ross: You are so incorrigible > >Blake: Part of my charm... So how does it feel knowing you are going to be a dad? > (grinning in sheer delight) > >A brief look of concern crosses his face > >Ross:(gently) It is great to think positively Hon, but lets not get ahead of ourselves! > >Blake: (beaming) I got the very positive test results today! > >Ross: You mean...we are going to have a baby...that was why you came to the Towers to tell me this incredible news? > >Blake: (ignoring references to earlier) Guess all that practice paid off... you know I'll get crazy (thinks about this one)..Crazier...and I'll grow as big as a house (happily) > >As his eyes leisurely roam over her very beautiful body in appreciation, he laughs at the image of her at 9 months pregnant, it would be hell... no doubt... but he would love every minute of it > >Ross: Well...big as a house...crazy as the birds... it won't matter, because I love you now and I will love you even more then. > >Look of horror crosses his face, as he realizes his pregnant wife is soaked and naked in a phone booth. > >Ross: Your shivering...lets get you home before you get pneumonia > >(wraps her in his trench coat) > >Ross: Blake ..where are your shoes > >Blake:(ruefully) Poor things met a rather bitter end > >(Ross pushes open the door, which mysteriously opens, swings her up into his arms and steps out into the light rain) > >Ross: I hope you don't mind a little more rain > >Blake:(arms wrapped around his neck) I hadn't even noticed > >He swings her around, doing a little dance in the rain. > >Ross: This is the happiest moment of my life...and to top it all off we are going to have a baby...I can't believe we are going to have baby. > >Blake:(feels the same way) Could it be any more perfect...though I hope no one sees us(laughs) they would think we are crazy > >Ross: I am crazy...crazy in love with you..(moves his lips to her stomach and whispers) and crazy about little baby Marler...now what do you say kiddo, I think we best get your mom home! > >Amanda:(overhears the conversation, mutters) Damn she certainly is not making this easy! (silently gives Blake a round of applause, that was certainly quite the turnaround) > >Lights fade as Ross carries her off into the night
